Donate a Bike

Turn an idle bike into trail miles

Your gently used bike becomes someone’s next ride — and the proceeds fund the trails. Here’s how it works.

The Process

From your garage to the trail

Four simple steps — we handle the rest.

1

You donate

Drop off your bike at the Packy Offield Trail Center, or reach out and we’ll arrange a time.

2

We refurbish

Our Safety & Maintenance director inspects, repairs, and tunes it to a safe, ready-to-ride condition.

3

We sell it

The bike is listed in the Bike Shop for a fair price — finding a new rider in the community.

4

Trails benefit

Every dollar of proceeds goes to trail safety, signage, and maintenance across the network.

Why It Matters

Donations are the engine of the Bike Shop

The Used Bike Sale has no supplier and no warehouse — every bike on the shelf was given by a neighbor. Your donation directly:

  • Keeps the shop stocked with quality, ride-ready bikes.
  • Funds the trails — proceeds support maintenance and safety.
  • Gets more people riding by making affordable bikes available locally.
  • Keeps bikes out of landfills — a second life instead of the curb.
